GEO 2.5 RTT

I bought this tent in September and had a few issues with the shipping, the company that was supposed to deliver the tent did not have the correct equipment to deliver the tent to my house. Intrepid was communicating with me the entire time, attempting to make everything right! Trevor was amazing and super friendly!

I ended up picking up the tent myself, but the installation was straight forward, I have used the tent 4 separate times and it has been great. The build quality is much better than any of my land based tents.
My truck (2024 Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter) originally sat at 75.6 inches measured at the top of the shark fin antenna and now sits at 84.2 inches with stock suspension and tires, for anyone needing that information. I did buy a separate valence to push the wind over the tent, I 100% recommend for intrepid to build their own, it would definitely sell!!

We absolutely love this roof top tent. The ease of deploying and stowing it is unbelievable, especially with how much space my wife and I have inside, it is so spacious. We were camping near Amarillo at Palo Duro Canyon where it gets VERY windy, one night the gusts were 40+ MPH, not only did we the tent perform well, it kept all of the dust fine out as well.

Best Rooftop Tent Ever!

Absolutely LOVE my GEO 2.5 RTT! This thing is awesome. Super fast and simple to set up, equally easy and fast to put away. There’s so much headroom that even my 6’ tall husband can comfortably sit up ant the “hinge” end and move around in the tent.

We love the skylight feature and how the roof vents work. We got a small rechargeable usb camping fan to move more air when we have the solid doors closed for warmth/privacy.

Love that there are three full sized doors! We bought extra ladder brackets so regardless of where we camp, we can access the tent from any direction.

Incredibly well built, tons of thoughtful and useful features!

Geo 2.5 pro

Just got my Pro a month ago and took it out to Alabama Hill. It exactly what I expected. super easy to set up and is very roomy, enough room for two plus a medium dog. Closing it down took a little more time but I think I need to get use to it (it's a lot easier then my soft tent). We also got the tent chairs which worked great inside the tent to watch my pad before falling asleep. Sorry didn't take any pictures

love it!

I've had my eye on this tent for a few years now and finally decided to upgrade the older rooftop tent. Very glad I did. One of the main reasons for the upgrade was to store the bedding inside the tent -- having to pack it all up every morning was an annoyance and the bedding took up valuable space in the 4Runner. So this is real nice. The set up and tear down is super easy and fast. It's also nice that we don't need to find a really big spot for the tent to fold out like the previous tent. Overall, I love it.

Couple of bits of feedback --
the mattress is just meh. Immediately replaced it with my exped, which is way more comfortable.

Originally installed on the roof with the two sets of mounting brackets, but the tent/rack rattled like crazy, so added two more mounting brackets and some carpet squares where the tent meets the rack and the rattling is gone. I think supplying at least three mounting brackets would be better. Four would be ideal.

Overall though, it's a great tent. Solid. Hope to enjoy it for years to come.
