Limited 3 Year Warranty

 

With a combined 50 years of experience in the outdoor industry, we stand by our products and test them to the furthest of extent of their performance before they reach your hands.

Our products are built to be reliable and as such, we offer a limited 3-year warranty against manufacturer defects on all of our products. Our warranty covers the workmanship, materials, and parts against defects that may have caused your item to not work properly.

 

What Our 3 Year Warranty Includes 

 

For 3 years from the date of purchasing the product, Intrepid can either repair or replace the unit, at our discretion. This includes but is not limited to the replacement of defective parts or parts damaged in shipping. 

 

Proof of defective parts or product must be shown to validate the claim. Shipping damage claims must be made within 5 business days after the product was delivered and evidence from packaging MUST be supplied as well to validate it as a shipping claim.

 

If it is determined that replacing a part is the best way to service the warranty claim, Intrepid will cover the cost of shipping the replacement part and will provide instructions to the customer. The customer will be responsible for the installation of the part(s) and all costs incurred in the repair, if any. The customer can also elect to return the tent to Intrepid for servicing.  If the tent is returned to Intrepid Camp Gear for servicing, the customer is responsible for the cost and liability of the return shipping.

  

This warranty policy does not apply to second hand purchases. The item must be purchased from Intrepid Camp Gear or one of our authorized dealers to be covered under our warranty policy. 

 

Our warranty does not cover issues such as, but not limited to:

 

  • Damage caused by weather or nature — including but not limited to: storm damage, wind damage etc.
  • Damage caused by the customer — including but not limited to: accidents, misuse, overloading, tearing, or puncturing etc.
  • UV damage or discoloration of the fabric, fabric glue, or vinyl windows  
  • Issues from wear and tear — including but not limited to scratches, dents, fading or cosmetic blemishes to shell
  • If the product is modified or repaired by the customer
  • Issues resulting from improper cleaning or storage 



In rare cases, Intrepid can elect to refund the original purchase price, not including the shipping cost, rather than rendering repair or replacement. 

 Shipping claims:

  • shipping claims must include the following images 
    • Close up images of the damage 
    • images of the product and damaged area as a whole 
    • Images of the damage on the box or packaging
