For the gladiator, your Intrepid rooftop tent has to be mounted on an above cab bed rack. This means you will get most functionality of your bed space for storage, while still being able to use a cab rack for storage as well. Bed racks will have the most modular options and capabilities. You can still use side panels as storage or with topper, you can have a full dry space. Our recommendation is to mount your tent above the cab for the use of bed space. With a half bed rack, you are mostly eliminating the ability to use your bed space. All of the Intrepid tents have to be mounted above the cab due to the length of the tent and short nature of the Gladiator bed.
